Kaju curry healthy and tasty at home
Welcome to all 😇.today we have come here for another recipe.most of the time we get boared with same vegetable eat day by day.but u know what by today's recipe it will change a little.yes u heard it right.yes I am talking about "kaju curry ".
So lets go to the journey of kaju curry.we will go step by step. Preparation time:30-35 minutes. Cook time :30-35 minutes. Type: vegetarian. Cuisine: North indian,punjabi. Prefered as:Lunch,dinner. Taste better with :roti,bhakri,plain rice or Jeera rice. List of ingredients:1)1 or 1/2 cup cashews (kaju)it can be whole,cut. 2)1 large onion(pyaaz chopped). 3)2 tomato(Tamatar chopped). 4)1 inch piece of cinaamon (Dalchini). 5)2 cloves garlic(Lehsun chopped). 6)1-2 inch ginger (Adrak chopped). 7)1 green chili (chopped). 8)1 tbsp greated beetroot(optional). 9)1/2 tbsp red chili powder(lal mirch powder). 10)1-2 tbsp cumin corinader powder(optional). 11) 1 tbsp turmeric powder(haldi powder). 12)1/2 cup milk (use water if milk not available) . 13)1/2 tbsp kasuri methi (Dried fenugreek leaves). 14)1-2 tbsp Coriander leaves (fine chopped). 15)2-3 tbsp oil . 16) salt (As needed).
Step by step guide to follow: step 1:Take a pan for the dish preparation. Step 2:Pour 1-2 tbsp of oil in a pan. Step 3:Add about 1 cup whole or cut cashew nuts in a pan or kadhai. Step 4:we will roast cashews for 5-6 minutes on medium heat. Step 5: cashews when becomes golden brown that mean cashew is done . Step 6: keep that roasted cashews in a plate and keep them aside . Step 7: just heat 2 tbsp of oil in a same pan along with that add small piece of cinnamon, some chopped onions, 1-2 cloves of garlic and small piece of ginger chopped. Step 8: Do this on a medium heat. Step 9:saute them well for 2-3 minutes in this time onions will change the colour like brownish. Step 10: Let the cool down the mixture and keep them aside. Step 11: Now we need cashew tomato puree. Step 12: Take a grinder add 6-7 cashews and grind untill it make smooth powder. Step 13: Now add 1 or 2 chopped tomatoes for grinding.we need tomato puree. Step 14: we want smooth tomato cashew puree. Step 15: Add this tomato cashew puree In a large bowl. Step 16: add sauted onion mixture for grinding . Step 17:same like tomato cashew purre we want smooth paste. Step 18:Heat a pan add 1 tbsp of oil along with that add onion paste and beetroot(optional) in it. Step 19:just saute for 2-3 minutes oil will start separating . Step 20:Add cashew tomato puree in a pan along with add 1 tbsp red chilli powder,1 tbsp cumin corinader powder and 1/2 tbsp of turmeric powder and pinch of salt. Step 21: Mix it well and saute for 3-4 minutes .long time can damage. Step 22: Add roasted cashews and mix it well and cook for 2-3 minutes. Step 23: Add 1/2 cup milk and 1/2 cup water.(use water if milk is not available) . Step 24: mix well and cover the pan let them cook for 2-3 minutes. Step 25: our cashew curry is done .serve it hot.
