Garlic sandwich yummy and easy

Garlic Sandwich Recipe (Vegetarian)

Here’s a simple, delicious garlic sandwich recipe that’s quick to make and packed with flavor. It’s perfect as a snack or light meal.

Ingredients (for 2 sandwiches):
Bread slices: 4 slices (white, brown, or multigrain)
Butter or ghee: 3–4 tablespoons, softened
Garlic: 4–5 cloves, finely minced or crushed
Fresh coriander (cilantro): 2 tablespoons, chopped
Green chili (optional): 1, finely chopped (adjust to taste)
Salt: to taste
Black pepper powder: ¼ teaspoon
Lemon juice: 1 teaspoon (optional, for tanginess)
Vegetables (optional additions):
Sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, or onions
Grated cheese (like mozzarella or cheddar)

Instructions:
Prepare the garlic butter spread:
In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped coriander, green chili (if using), salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Blend well until combined.

Assemble the sandwiches:
Spread the garlic butter generously on one side of each bread slice.
If using vegetables or cheese, layer them on the buttered side of two slices.
Place the remaining slices on top, buttered side facing inward, to form sandwiches.

Toast the sandwiches:
Option 1 (Stovetop): Heat a pan or griddle over medium heat. Place the sandwiches and cook for 2–3 minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy. Press lightly with a spatula.
Option 2 (Sandwich maker): Grill in a preheated sandwich maker until crisp and golden.
Option 3 (Oven): Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway.

Serve:
Cut the sandwiches diagonally and serve hot with ketchup, chutney, or a side salad.

Tips & Variations:
Extra garlicky: Add ½ teaspoon of garlic powder to the spread for more intensity.
Herb twist: Mix in dried oregano, basil, or chili flakes.
Protein boost: Add scrambled eggs, paneer (cottage cheese), or grilled vegetables.
Vegan version: Use vegan butter or olive oil instead of butter.
Spice level: Adjust green chili or add red chili powder for heat.

Why This Recipe Works:
The garlic butter infuses the bread with rich, aromatic flavor while toasting.
It’s customizable—add your favorite veggies or cheese.
Ready in under 15 minutes, ideal for busy days.

Enjoy your homemade garlic sandwich! If you have leftover spread, store it in the fridge for up to a week and use it on toast or pasta. Let me know if you’d like other variations (e.g., with chicken or different herbs).
