      • Are u biryani lover ?i am damn lover of biryani. In case of chicken biryani it just unexplainable.u also feel like mouthwatering na .it's just yummy dish to eat and if it made with own hands the taste can be much better.those days when I was at 12 th i usually skip the meal of mess to eat the biryani. So it's just amzing taste and wonderful.                                                                  So we will move towards the journey of making chicken biryani are u ready to take a ride of it let's go .                                                     First of all we will look out for ingredients required for it.                                                        Ingredients: Chicken,rice,basmati rice,chili pepper,onion,garam masala,tomato ,biryani mix packet (available at stores ), yoghurt,coriander(dhaniya) ,ghee,cumin(jeera),salt(namak),black pepper ,ginger garlic paste (adrak lehsun paste), cardamom (elaichi),lemon(nimbu),cinnamon(dalchini), saffron (kesar),dhaniya powder,mint leaves(pudina ke patte),garam masala powder.                                                                     The list of ingredients is huge na 😅                 so we will go step by step come with me we will make amazing yummy and delicious chicken biryani .                                                                Step 1: first of we have to marinate the chicken.marination of chicken makes chicken soft .                                                                      Step 2:we need half kg of chicken for biryani.                                                                               Step 3: make some pieces of chicken for biryani large pieces is not so look good in biryani .                                                                             Step 4: in a bowl add 2-3 tsp of yoghurt (dahi), 1 1/4 th tsp of ginger garlic paste, 1/2 tsp to 1 tsp of  garam masala or biryani masala, 1/2 tsp of salt, 1/4 tsp ground turmeric, 1/2 to 1 tsp of red chili powder and 1 tsp of lemon juice (optional) .                                      Step 5:mix everything well and marinate the chicken for 1 hour .                                  Step 6: along with that add 2 cups of basmati rice and rinse 2-3 times .                                  Step 7: drain the water and soaked basmati rice in fresh water for 25-30 minutes.                                                                              Step 8:next we have to cook the chicken .  Heat ghee or oil in a  heavy bottom pot or pressure cooker or anything pot u prefer to do .                                                                        Step 9:we used in that 1 bay bay leaf, 4 green cardamom, 5-6 cloves, 1 inch cinnamon piece,  3/4  tsp shahi jeera .                          Step 10:  add sliced onion fry them stirring untill they become light brown.                                                          Step 11:   do not burn the onions it can damage the taste.                                          Step 12:  we now add marinated chicken  and saute them untill they pale for upto 5 minutes.                              Step 13:   lowers the flame and cover the chicken Untill they become soft .    Step 14:  check the chicken with knife or some stuff that is cooked or not .        Step 15:  do not overcooked the chicken.                                                          Step 16: let's check the taste and salt only if needed .                                                                                  Step 17: Add 1/4 cup yoghurt,1 tsp garam masala or biryani masala, 1/2 to 1/4 red chilli powder (optional), 1 slit green chili (optional),2tsp chopped mint leaves (pudina).                                                      Step 18:  mix every thing well and make a layer of this mixture .                               Step 19: To a seprate bowl add 3 cups of water and 1/2 to 1/4 od salt and stir and taste the water .                                    Step 20:water taste must be slight salty .    Step 21:add 2 cups ot water along the side of cooking pot or cooker.                   Step 22:pour remaining water over the rice gently .                                                    Step 23:level the rice gently.                       Step 24:add 2 tsp of mint leaves do not mix every thing .                                           Step 25:cover the pot or cooker .             Step 26:cook on a medium flame untill rice is done cooked .                                     Step 27:if rice remain undercooked add 1/2 to 1/4 cup of water in that .           Step 28:cook unill the biryani rice is done. After 1 whisle of cooker and later turn off the gas.enjoy the biryani with garnish coriander leaves and enjoy with dahi or plain chicken curry.               Tips to do awesome chicken biryani:basmati rice is perfect option for chicken biryani it make biryani delicious.                                                   Marinating chicken is must better marinated chicken better the taste  .   U can also add boiled eggs in a chicken biryani to make it attractive.
