Rajma chawal sounds yummy na it is yummy.rajma is enriched with the nutrients .rajma and chawal combination is just mouth watering and heart warming too.i have one memory regarding rajma chawal.once i ate rajma chawal is just blows my mind .and I decide to share the stuff with you all gracefully and as better as I can .         Note:enjoy this stuff in your language choose select language on left side of a blog.   So let's look at the process of making rajma chawal.     
Rajma chawal.               
 Preparation time :10-20 minutes .                      Cool time :40-45 minutes.                                   Soaking of rajma /red kideny beans:8 hours .  Serving :3-4.                                                          Prefered as :lunch or dinner .                              Type : vegetarian.                                                 Taste better with :plain rice ,jeera rice .                                Ingredients:1 cup rajma(Red kideny beans,2 tbsp ghee or oil,1 green chilli (chopped ) (optional),1 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste ,1 cup chopped onion,1 1/2cups tomatoes ( 2 large,chopped and  pureed),1/2 -1tsp red chili powder,3/4 tsp garam masala,1-2 tsp coriander powder,3/4 to 1 tsp cumin powder (jeera powder),1/4 tsp turmeric,1/2 to 1 tsp salt,1/2 to 1 tsp kasuri methi(dried fenugreek seeds),2 tbsp coriander leaves(kothimbir) finely chopped.

So lets go for it .i mean lets go for making rajma chawal.we can make rajma chawal in pressure cooker and pot too.while using pressure cooker we have to add 2 cups of water and while pot using add only 1 cup of water.                                                                        Action to take:1)  Take a large bowl add rajma in that rinse them well 2-3 times.          2) then we have to soaked rajma in water for atleast 8-10 hours.                                                  3) Do not cover the rajma .                                  4)place the wet cotton cloth at the bottom thats why rajma will not sticked.                        5) when we are ready to cook rajma then rinsed well rajma 2-3 times.                 
6)along with chopped the onions finely.and make puree of tomatoes with the help of blender.                                                                    7)   Then now we will move towards making of rajma masala  in pressure cooker we are making this all in a pressure cooker.if cooker not available then u can do in pot too.              8) Add ghee or oil in a pressure cooker and do this on a medium heat otherwise high heat can burn out the stuff.                                9) when the ghee melts add ginger garlic paste in that.                                                            10) Also we will add green chillies in that in a minute it will start smell good.                        11) Now we will add  chopped onion and sprinkle /add some pinch of salt.                         12)saute them well don't burn them .onions become golden is sign that is going good .         13)now we will turn off the gas for while.        14)Lets add spices like red chili powder,cumin powder, coriander powder,garam masala and turmeric.                15)mix everything well properly.                       16)Add drained rajma along with 2 1/4  cup of water .mix everything well.loosen the spices if sticked at the bottom.                            17) cover the cooker with lid on medium heat let them cook for 5-6 minutes max.            18)  Hear 4-6 whistles (depends on the rajma it can be less for some ).                                19) our rajma is cooked now we will add pureed tomatoes in that.                                      20)  Let them cook for 5-6 minutes on medium heat .                                                        21)  In this time raw smell disappears then we will   open the lid of cooker and check the cooking (only when pressure in cooker is dropped).                                                                22) Now our rajma is cooked.if rajma is become soft then it's done.if it's still tough it's not done.                                                            23)  If not cooked untill then let them cook for few minutes more .                                        24)   Add hot cooked tomato puree to the hot rajma and mix well properly.                              25)  if there is need of water then add some water it will maintain the consistency.              26) Let them boil and cook for 3-4 minutes.     27)now we will take the taste of our dish if salt feel less then add some salt in that .            28) garnish the Coriander leaves on the rajma and sprinkle some lemon juice on rajma .enjoy the rajma with plain rice or Jeera rice or the way u like to eat.
